Fourways is a buzzing sub-district of the greater district of Sandton, less than half an hour drive from the Sandton's centre. It is originally an outlying suburb of smallholdings north of Sandton and Johannesburg. It has recently seen a sudden increase of fast development, both commercially and residentially, especially since the extensive redevelopment of Fourways Mall commenced. Fourways is in a well-situated location in terms of it being within the vicinity of some of Johannesburg's world class public amenities.
The main access routes to Fourways are off the N1 at R511 William Nicol Drive, or alternatively along R564 Witkoppen Road. To the OR Tambo International Airport is 40 km away.
